TASTE OF FUSION LEARNING
Taste of fusion learning

PRODUCTION
Taste of Fusion Learning – Peer to Peer: Module Numératie
This manual presents a multisensory approach to teaching numeracy to vulnerable women through food-based activities. Designed for social workers, educators, volunteers and project leaders, it offers a two-day training programme combining theory on memory and learning processes with practical, hands-on exercises using taste, smell, touch and cooking. Through activities such as “Goûter les chiffres”, sensory exploration of spices and legumes, and recipe-based mathematical tasks, participants learn how to teach numbers, proportions and basic operations in an engaging, culturally sensitive and experiential way that strengthens both cognitive skills and social inclusion
Taste of Fusion Learning – Approche multisensorielle de la maternité
This manual adapts the multisensory methodology to maternity support, with a focus on women in situations of migration and vulnerability. Developed in collaboration with health professionals, it provides non-formal, sensory-based workshops to support knowledge about pregnancy, breastfeeding, infant nutrition and early child development while simultaneously strengthening French language acquisition. Through activities engaging the five senses, digital tools, creative mapping, forum theatre and practical numeracy exercises linked to infant care, the manual aims to reinforce maternal confidence, promote breastfeeding, support intercultural adaptation and create safe collective learning spaces for future and new mothers
Taste of Fusion Learning – Peer to Peer: Programme Multisensoriel
This manual presents a structured 3 to 5-day training programme designed for trainers, educators and facilitators working with diverse audiences, including migrants and adults with linguistic difficulties. Grounded in educational neuroscience, it explains how attention, emotion, memory and sensory stimulation influence learning, and translates these principles into practical, ready-to-use activities. The programme combines theoretical input on multisensory pedagogy with experiential exercises such as memory experiments, ice-breakers, team-building games, sensory challenges using smell and taste, movement-based stimulants, and creative group tasks. By engaging sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste and bodily movement, the manual aims to create safe, dynamic and enjoyable learning environments that strengthen memory retention, group cohesion and learner confidence
